Due to popular demand, the QLD Spring Challenge will now be held on Sunday 20 November at Somerset College on the Gold Coast - a great fun way to finish the year after all the other comps are over and an excellent opportunity to show the judges perhaps the new routines you are working on for 2011 to gain some valuable feedback. Look forward to seeing you there - entries close on Thurs 15 October, 2010.

As our 2010 Rules and Guidlines have no extended out to 20 pages, take your time to familiarise yourself with all the info and the layout - we think it is so much easier to read and you will love it, but if you need any help, just give us a call. Please note that the two tables on page 18 and 19; the Allowed and Disallowed moves have been placed in opposite directions to assist our Coaches who teach both Primary and Secondary from accidently getting the tables mixed up at a quick glance - hope it helps!
Qld Coaches- we tried really hard to bring your State Finals into Term 2, as we know how hard it has been for Qld every year to be the last to qualify and often have the furthest to travel. Unfortunately due to long weekends, and the various State governemetns starting to bring all States into similar term dates for 2010 onwards, we were unable to bring the Finals to Term 2, so they remain, for this year, on the 25 July , just after Term 3 starts back. The good news is it is still a whole month to Nationals and Nationals are in Qld, so the majority of you do not have to worry about airfaes if you qualify and for our fabulous schools in regional areas, if you make it to Nationals, you will still have a month up your sleeve and with the Nationals outside peak air travel times, you will be fine to make it to Brizzy!
We are once again ,hoping that in 2011 , Qld will be able to move its Finals to Term 2- stay tuned!
